This is a lithograph created by E. Herline Lith. 630 Chestnut St., Philadelphia. It is captioned "Luther und seine Mitarbeiter an der Reformation". It includes a central likeness of Martin Luther as well as 6 others. It is in poor condition, with some waterstaining and perhaps moth damage. The frame seems to be very old as well, as was perhaps painted gold at one time. The backing to the frame appears to be two pieces of very old wood.
I found this and thought it was very interesting. Just wanting an idea of the age and value. I have found several lithographs by Herline in museum collections, especially in Philadelphia. They seem to be dating to between the 1850's-1870's. I am aware that because of the poor condition this is probably not worth much, but any historical value it may hold is important to me.
Any help at all is much appreciated! Thank you in advance!
