Hand Wrought Copper Chestnut roaster or Bed warmer

Description

I have what looks to be either a chestnut roaster or a oddly round bottomed bed warmer, it is made of wrought copper and the part that hold the handle is forged rolled iron with copper rivets holding it to the base as well as tho the hinge lid. There is, in the base around the top area a series of round and diamond holes punched around the circumference for decoration.
