Description

Does anyone have any information on the value, history, or meaning of this set?

There is a crest or coat of arms on the plates and cups, with a lot of gold trim and inlays.  The crest has large black birds holding something like a wreath, and a crown, sword and arrow.  The plates and saucers have very intracate gold edging an inlays.

On the back, marked with a gold seal: Grand Depot, E. Bourgeois, 21 Rue Drouot, Paris

10 large plates, 8 saucers and 8 cups

I haven't run across a pattern/design of this type before, could anybody shed some light on the approximate value, time period, history, etc.?
