A rocking chair that belong to my great grandmother. It was made in West Virginia (then Virginia) in the mid 1800s. We had it restored professionally. It has been passed down through our family. We believe it was made locally but have no proof. We had it restored when we lived near Gettysburg, PA. The person that restored it liked it. He found the old webbing inside cushion portion that fit that time period. He never gave us an appraisal though. We do not want to sell it. We just want to know what it is worth for insurance purposes.
