Description

This chair has been in the family for at least 70+ years. I don't know anything about it. Where it came from or anything. There are no markings on it. I believe the wood is oak but, not sure. Help me? I would also like to know what the carved faces are suppose to be and represent.

hard to tell from the images, but it does look like oak. Most cahirs of thsi type date from the first quarter of the 20th century. They don't have any huge value, if the upholstery is in good shape we retail these for about $300.00
