Antique Mammy's Rocking Bench

Description

My mother bought this bench in the late 1980's. It supposedly came from descendants of Benjamin Franklin. It came out of a house in Philadelphia where it sat on a landing at the top of the stairs where a grandmother rocked the babies. Possibly late 1700's but probably early 1800's.
