Hi I am hoping someone might knowmore about information (age/value) on these picture frames they are miniture in size and see to be of a neoclassical style - i have seen a set on a site somewhere that looks identical except it is in silver and is new (reproduction and doesnt have any of the french stuff on it.)
I am not sure what metal they are made of but i guess iron or steel or something heavy - they weigh 22 grams and have a golden pantena.
I know the town of sisteron has a big citadel and that the french flag on the top is the coat of arms for the town so to speak.
They coud be souvenirs for all I know but I havent been able to find a museum or trinket shop that sells them.
The total height is 5.5cm picture area is about 2.5cm
Thank you in advance
