Description

It is A zither, It has what looks like a woodpecker in the Zither 3 picture not sure about type, have no knowledge of music instruments. The music books seem to be in German. It also has the case which is suticase type w/ blue felt lining. Thank You.

Hello, This is a "concert zither" common in Alpen/German/Bavarian/Austrian folk music.  They produce wonderful sounds and if you want to hear some good examples, search for "zithermusi" on YouTube.

They are tuned in two different configurations Munich or Vienna.  This is a nice model, and appears to be in playable condition.  Have fun with it.
