This is a bowl with pink and yellow flowers and a gold trim. On the bottom is a stamp of a picture of a vase with the words semi-vitreous inside the vase. Under the vase it is written Edwin M. Knowles China Co. Made in the usa 487. The bowl is white porcelean.

According to the date code, "48 7" this piece was made in 1948. Knowles is best known for it's Collectors plates today. Values for bowls like this on their own is very modest, often selling online at auctions like Ebay for less than $15.00.
