Cherub lamp from Meriden CT

Description

My grandmother's lamp which was given to her by her father, who worked and lived in Meriden CT from 1892-1948.  I have records indicating he worked at Charles Parker & Company from 1917-1942.  His occupation was listed in 1917 as "Printing Glass Shades".

It seems to be solid brass.  The lamp has been converted from gas to electric, unfortunately.  As my grandmother's health is declining, she has asked me to look into the story of this lamp.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.
