If it's Gold there will be markings to indicate the gold content. I don't see any such markings on this watch. As far as I know Waltham didn't make a 24K watch, 24k gold is way too soft for watch cases.

My mistake. THe watch belongs to a good friend of my who is not very computer savy. I checked with him and you are correct, it is not 24K gold it is 14K.

I need a full description of the markings or a better photo of the gold marking, some of these are "Gold Filled", like a gold palting.
