Description

Your inquiry to the Hamilton Watch Company was referred to me for reply (I am the company's consulting historian). Your watch was called a "Form Opening Cushion", obviously made ca. 1926. These were made in solid gold, gold-fill, and silver. Gold colors included yellow, white, and green. Your pictures indicate yours is white gold-filled; Hamilton made 26,711 of this variation.

Yours has one unusual feature: second hand at 9. Most were made with no second hand, or after 1927 with second hand at 6. Those with seconds at 9 like yours are less common.

This was sent to me by a historian from Hamilton.
