Description

I know that the table was purchased by my great grandmother . I believe the wood to be either Mahogony or Maple....it's completely solid wood with no new pieces. There are two release under the table at both ends allowing two extensions at both ends from a crank in the center of the table that you constantly turn around until the liefs are completely out and then the cranks lock into place.

There is a signature on the bottom of the table but sorry i forgot what it is.... I saw a piece almost the same in the Museum of Art in NYC circa 1700's Gregorian but I have no idea if this table is from that era or if it's a copy....no idea..

History my great grandmother arrived in New York city sometime at the turn of the century 1899 - 1900's
and she got it from a wealthy family that they did business with....My great grandparents were in the ice business. That's all i know
