These are two antique chairs from a dinning room set with four chairs and two arm chairs and a matching dinning room table. They were made by the Northwest Chair Co. of Tocoma, Washington. They have the original finish but the seats have been reapolstered. Each chair has somewhat elaborate carving that consists of styleized fruit and a ducks head. A friend who is knowledgable about wood made a guess that the chairs might be made of Apple wood. I am interested in knowing what one of these chairs might be worth and the difference, if any, in the price between the arm chair and the regular chair.
