My father was drafted by the  US Army in 1944 and 1945 serving in Okinawa, Japan during World War II. This original document dated May 8, 1945 titled "Victory of The Day" by Dwight D. Eisenhower and the map titled "Allied Plans for the Invasion of Japan (Operation Downfall) were forwarded to my father in 1945 regarding his service in the US Army.
