Got it at an op shop. I don't think it's real pearls, but since it looks old, I thought it might still be worth something.

Most strings of pearls like this are not real. most real strings will have a knot between each pearl  , and gold or silver clasp.  But that don't mean its not worth anything. depends on the maker, so look close for stamps and marks. rub the pearl on teeth and see how it feels. rough and gritty most likely real. smooth and plactic feel (Fakes). again some costom pieces can sell for over $25.00 some more......Good luck. please NOTE the color of yours, DO NOT put it in pearl cleaner it will take the color coating off of it.
