Brass statue of yogi in lotus position

Appraisal complete
Description

This is what appears to be a brass statue of a yogi in a lotus position with a weighted copper base and a marking on the bottom that is also on the palm of the yogi's hand. I know it was purchased somewhere in the East but not much more. I'm trying to find if anyone knows anything about this kind of statue and approximate value.
