Description

Hello everyone, I hope you can tell me a bit more about the pieces I purchased at an antique mall.  The earrings and rings were described as emeralds and diamonds with 18kt white gold.

The ring has an 18kt stamp and there are numbers hidden within that flap there.  I'm sorry I'm not sure what to call that extra piece of metal in the ring.  Does someone know why it's there?

As you can see, the earrings have a letter and numbers stamped on them.  Both earrings have the same stamps and the numbers in sequential orders.  Any information or guesses will be greatly appreciated.
