i have seen robes like this before go form thousands. I would highly suggest getting it authenticated and appraised by a professional. if you can track it down to the Qing (Ch'ing) Dynasty it can sell for nearly $16000 or more. Even if it is tracked down to the Republic period, it can fetch over $550 to the right collector and there is a ton of collectors out there looking for imperial robes.

Im am not an expert in this category but i would highly suggest getting it appraised by a professional that can track it down to a certain dynasty and you could be sitting on thousands.

Good luck and please inform me if you do get it looked at by a professional.
