cedar chest with seat rails

Description

Received this cedar chest that was my grandmother's.  No one in the family knows anything about it.  Would love to know the age and manufacturer.  No maker's mark, just the number burned into the bottom.  Picture included.

Cedar chests like this wewre made in huge numbers, most furnitur companies made a line of them post World War one until the 1950's. This one dates from the mid 1920's, but without a label it's impossible to determine a maker. Values for them are modest, we often see them go at auction for about $75.00 these days, we retail ones in very good condition for about $200.00 and take best offer.
