Description Bought this plate recently at our local thrift store at the bequest of my mum who asked for 'pretty plates to eat cakes off of'. I just picked a few up and this one had a little stuck on note at the back 'John Ridgway plate c.1828'. There are no markings on the plate itself. Any help as to value and authenticity would be much appreciated - will wait to eat cakes from it until I know how much it is worth! :)
