Antique Gloucester Plate

Description

This is an 8 inch round, off-white plate with 4 flowers (1 yellow, 2 orange,1 pink)  and a small box painted in the middle. The inner ring of the plate is painted with very small flowers and designs and a thin green line. The outer ring of the plate has pressed-in designs and the rim is not a straight circle but instead cut into a design around the edging. The whole plate has tiny age cracks throughout but the outer coating is still all one piece and shiny. There are no chips or cracks.

The inscription on the back reads:

                      THE

              GLOUCESTER

      published by Ridgeways

                     1914

(Symbol of chalace with anchor and flowers)

            RENAISSANCE

                 England

(There are 2 dimples on the back)
