Antique Settee

Description

I was told this is from the 1890s. Not knowing much about settees of this type, and not having seen many, I went along with that. It seemed like for supposedly being made of mahoghany, it is pretty light. I bought it from a VERY reliable antique store. Something always seemed just slightly off with it. I own a lot of legitimate Victorian furniture and it just didn't seem to match up in quality. However, just now, by chance I stumbled across this.

It's not exact. Mine is much darker, and the wood carvings are different at the top and sides. But this is, of course really frustrating because for months and months (I bought this in January or so) I've been trying to look up any information about it to make sure it was legitimate. Well, if it is this item somehow, I could have known that before I wasted money on it. Luckily I didn't spend too much but it's just wasteful.
