1988 D. Lincoln memorial cent (penny). On the obverse side of the penny, there's peeling,flaking & bubbling  Behind lincoln and throughout the bust and portrait areas. Where as the reverse side has none of the peeling,flaking or bubbling. And looks to be in good condition.

A heavily circulated coin, the "peeling,flaking & bubbling" is due to exposure to heat or chemicals or heavy abrasion, at any rate it's a result of wear and tear and not a mistake by the mint and therefore not collectible. (This actually happens quite a bit with zinc pennies.) Grand total value: $0.01
