Antique Meat Slicer US Slicing Machine Co., LaPorte Indiana

Description

This is a very heavy, possibly commercial meat slicer with a menacing blade probably used to cut bone.. The exterior is white porcelain. You can see that the machine is numbered and there are many patents associated with it. It belonged to my grandfather (born 1911) who, I believe, worked in a slaughter house in Philadelphia at one point. My parent are moving and we unearthed some of my mother's father's things.
