Cooke, Troughton and Simms Level

Appraisal complete
Description

About: The piece is a Cooke, Troughton and Simms instrument of some sort, made in York, England. Serial number S01217. Comprising of a mahogany case, hardwood tripod, plumb bob and level. From what little research I've done, I believe its some sort of surveyors level made during the early 1950s.

History: I purchased this at a local Swap Meet last month and would appreciate any information, valuations or the like. It has markings that it has been in Adelaide at some stage of its life

Components: The dial closest to the tripod mount has a 360degree measuring system, whilst the seecond dial has a 'fall-in and rise-in' measuring system that ranges from 150-2000. I assume that measures in mm.

Condition: It is in very good condition, It was maintained at some point in its life as per the maintenance stickers inside the box. The tripod is still in useable condition, though the box is a little 'pre-loved'.
