Chinoiserie ? Figurine Woman with Lantern and Brass Umbrella - Asian Oriental

Description

The person I received this from says it is a " Chinoiserie ".   I am unable to find this item anywhere on the internet.

It is made in Italy (sticker on the bottom).  Also has a sticker, as well as writing, stating " 3/639/C ".

Seems to be an Oriental / Asian woman holding a lantern, as well as a removeable brass (?) umbrella.

I am unsure what is beside her ... possibly a stump?   It has leaves on it and flowers on the ground in front of it.

16-17" tall.

Came with a square brass base, 5.5" square, 1" tall.   I am not convinced it came with this figure, as you can see a piece of wood is added to the top of the base.   The bottom of the base is felt, with a yellow sticker reading (C) 1977 CHAPMAN   ALL RIGHTS RESERVED

Would like to know some sort of description, age, manufacturer, etc.   And a value as well.

Thank you for any help I can get!
