Description

 

 

Inside the back of the cabinet and the first shelf is covered with mirrored glass.

It has a lockable door with key.

It has 2 manufacturer stickers inside, one with Standis est. 1912 Guaranteed Furniture and the other Standis Furniture European Labor Only.

I believe that Standis was a furniture manufacturer based in Melbourne, Australia

I purchased this about 10 years ago from an antiques shop in Brisbane and am curious to know more about the company Standis, what type of wood it is and if anyone would have any idea of an estimated value.
