Hand-carved walking stick

Description

This walking stick is about 38 inches tall.  It must be made from some kind of branch or root of a tree.  It has a screw at the curve where the handle begins, which I assume was for a wrist strap that is now missing.  I also assume the holes are man-made since they are alligned so geometrically and have corresponding notches connecting them.

I'm just curious for anything anyone can tell me about this walking stick and if there is any value to it.  Thanks!
