Carved open mouth lions slope arm chair Klismos?

Description

This chair has brass wheels on the front legs only, and looks as if it's been reupholstered several times with nails only, no staples.  One of the pieces of wood on the inside of the seat is impressed with "LOUISVILLE KY" although I don't know if this is original to  the chair or was added as reinforcement later.  I can't find any nails or screws (other than tacks) to determine age.  I would like to know what style this is called and possible age.  The closest I could find visually was a chair called Kllismos, but it had no carvings.  Any information on what type of chair this is, who made it, how old, anything would be great.  There are numbers on the inside of the back of the seat.
