Your oak vanity dresser dates from the turn of the 19th Century and is in the Empire Revival style which was very popular at that time. Such pieces were mass produced and most American Furniture manufacturers produced a line in this style. Demand for furniture like this peaked during the 1980's, but has declined a great deal since then. Comparable pieces now go at auction for about $250.00.
