Hi! I am purchasing a 3 piece set of girandoles. My dealer believes them to be c. 1890. After searching relentlessly, I believe it is a Last of the Mohicans set. Two of them (the side pieces) are identical to several I've seen on the Internet, one depicting Cora Munro and the other Col. Duncan Heyward. The center piece, however, I have not been able to identify. The few sets I've found were either all Coras, or Cora, Heyward, and the two Mohicans with Hawkeye sitting together. I cannot find one with the scene depicted in this centerpiece.
Does anyone have any idea what scene might be depicted in this centerpiece? I've included photos of the set and individual pieces. I haven't picked them up yet so I cannot speak to any markings on them, but they certainly appear to be a true set and seem to be identical. Any ideas as to the centerpiece scene, other info, or approximate value? Thank you!!
