Widdicomb Furniture Company of GrandRapids, Michigan made good wood furniture from the late 1800s to the mid-20th century. This nightstand is 32 inches high by 25 wide and 19 deep. It has a shallow drawer on which the knobs have been replaced, an open shelf and a two-door cabinet. There is a little brass fitting on the right side whose purpose I cannot determine. It has signs of use as any piece this age should. I am not sure what kind of wood this is and would appreciate guidance in this area. If anyone knows what this piece is worth, I would appreciate it since I do intend to sell it.
