Hi,
My mother has a set of cutlery that her parents bought in England.
I have looked at the markings and it is, made by Elkington and the stamp is "Elkington plate" and letter O. From what I can find this was made in 1926 ??
it is almost complete,
8 dessert spoons
8 soup spoons
8 entree knives
8 entree forks
8 dinner knives ( actually has an extra one)
8 dinner forks
only 5 teaspoons
it has the Westminster design.
apart from sentimental value, is this silver plated items worth anything ?
Thanks for your time.
Jill
