silver half dollars

Description

I have 5 of them with dates of 1941,1942,1943,1944,1946   All are in good condition. I just need to know if they are worth very much over face value

These are all fairly worn, and half dollars aren't terribly rare. Most of their value will probably come from their silver content, which I believe is around 80%. Current spot price of silver (as of writing this post) is around $15 an ounce. Multiply that by .80 and then again by the weight of the coins in ounces and you have your value. Smelters will give you different buy prices but generally expect to get 75 cents on the dollar. Hope that helps!

these are referred to as "Walking Liberties". they contain 90% silver. you should have no problem getting $8-10 for each one
