Description

Fully restored Swedish L.M. Ericsson Commonwealth wallphone. This phone is one of the slightly modified Ericsson Model AB350/535/590, purchased By the Australian PMG between 1906-1911 as the standard wallphone. This phone is serial numbered 890415, and included the PMG nameplate. All-steel Battery cover painted in woodgrain finish. Carved fleur-de-lis type crest. Fitted with extra 'bullring' or 'mother in law' reciever connected to the right side of the case and hung from a hook under the writing slope. Not including dry cell batteries.
