Cast as a Highland soldier in full uniform, on naturalistic base, inscribed G.H. Paulin, 1924, on rectangular granite plinth , with plaque inscribed “Replica of the Memorial Statue erected at Beaumont-Hamel, Somme, France. To The Memory of The Officers, non-Commissioned Officers and Men of the 51st (Highland) Division who fell in the Great War, 1914-1918 and unveiled by Marechal Foch 28th September, 1924”
