Description

I don't know much about this object; it was recently passed on to me.

I love the carvings in the wood - I've not seen anything quite like it!

Would be great if someone could enlighten me as to origin /style/ name/ period and value.

Distinguishing marks None that I can see. The paper label at the back seems to have disintegrated- all that's left is a yellow paper corner without any marks on it.
