Description

This Sabre comes with a Certificate of Authenticity and Acquisition document provided by the Office of the Secretary of Defense.

The certificate says "Sabre was presented to Secretary of Defense Donald H. Rumsfeld from the Presens Corporation as a gift."

The sabre has 24 carat gold flakes within the 28% full lead crystal.

It has an ellipsoid curved hilt, and spiral twist handle.

It has the following engraved in the blade just above the hilt on one side:

Handmade By Presens-Marcolin, 1986, 34/299.

I believe that the Marcolin referred to in the engraving on the sword is Josef Marcolin.

Size: 760 mm (~30 inches)

Weight: 9 lbs (approx.)
