SECO was the trademark of Stein and Ellbogen, a jewelry wholesaler.


To be honest I am not sure exactly what the stone is. In my opinion is most resembles Maw Sit Sit, or a dark green semi opaque emerald?

My money is on Maw Sit Sit. It is a deep green with black spots. 10k Gold Twisted wire around the bezel.1" top to bottom, including the bail, and just over 1/2" wide.


Very old piece, dating to about the 1920s at the most recent, based on the style of company stamp. Any help would be greatly appreciated. For instance a more accurate date, and true identity of the stone is paramount. In a couple photos I tried to bring out that irredecent flare you can see in the light with your eyes. It is a magnificent stone and piece of jewelry.
