Antique Wooden Garuda

By peter8022, 11 June, 2015
Description

I am interested in information regarding the value of my Garuda and where should I go if I choose to sell it.

It is solid wood covered with small green and clear glass rectangles.  The height is 24ā€ and the wing span is 18.5ā€.  It was purchased from a gallery in Cambodia about 40 years ago. Supposedly it came from Ankor Wat.  The Garuda was accompanied by a certificate of antiquity, which I have since lost.  The condition is good. Several glass squares are missing.  There are small cracks at the base of the wings and at the feet.
