Description
We have a 19020's era Antique Sofa that my Grandparents owned. It has been in the family since new and passed from generation to generation. We are moving and would like to sell this beautiful . . . and comfortable sofa! There are no rips in the upholstory and the woodwork is in very, very good condition.

Purchased when my Grandparents were living in Chicago and before moving back up to Wisconsin. It probably was in their formal parlor and used for when they were entertaining. They were living in a very affluent neighborhood at the time. It is a sofa that many people are afraid to sit on because it is so beautiful. Once you sit on it many people can't believe how comfortable it is. I have more pictures but they are too big for this site. I can email them to you if necessary.

Did you receive your formal appraisal & sofa maker, style, yr, etc info? I have a Duncan Phyfe Federal in poor condition that I was going to have refurbished but yours has more detail & character. Would consider purchasing from you if in my Phyfe Refurbish budget range.

This is a Louis XV style sofa, the Louis XV style has been revived many times since its original inception during the 1700's. Values for such pieces like this depend a great deal on condition, but at auction comparable sofa's often sell for less than $300.00.
