Description

We would like a valuation to assist in selling the item. We believe it to be Phoenix glass becasue we found the almost exact same vase in hardback. The book is Mt Washington & Pairpoint Glass by Kenneth M. Wilson on page #259. (SEE Pictures). The blue vase is 3" Higher than the one we have. The shape appears to be exact.

This has a ground and nicely polished pontil. The only thing we are wondering about is where the vase is cased at the top rim it seems to be unfinished or even looks like little white brush strokes. It is not painted at all maybe an uneven grind we scrubbed to see.

This vase was purchased at an estate auction with other items from the estate all being about the same age 1880's.
