This is a reclaimed cement tile from Egypt. I was told by the shop, where these tiles are from, that all his products were taken from mansions or palaces around Luxor, Aswan or Alexandria. He estimates that the home this tile was taken from is approximately 100 years old. Tile is 20xmx20cm and is 1.5cm in height.
1. We have very little information about this tile. One tile expert (who is not so familiar with cement tiles) said it may be a continental tile.
2. If possible I would like to know the following:
a. If we have a lot of this particular tile, how much would it be worth at auction per square meter?
b. How much would 50 square meters be worth?
3. If possible, could you tell us how old this tile is (antique or vintage), where it's originally from and who its makes is?
Height: 1.5 cm
