This is my second time posting this item. Hoping someone know's something about it. It is a Dresden cream/boullion bowl & saucer. It is stamped Dresden Germany and signed by Richard Klemm. There also is a stamp underneith, which I cannot make out what it says. It looks kind of like "SH?SSIA". At one time in it's life, the bowl was broken and then heavilly repaired with four staples. I tested it, and was surprised to see that it is actually watertight. The saucer is in good condition. I believe the set may be from between 1893 and 1916.
I just love this piece despite it's flaws. I feel like the old fashioned repairs make it extra special! However, I am interested to know any history and how much it might be worth. I am sure the damage will effect the price considerably. Thank you for taking the time to look. I appreciate it!
