The first loud talking telephone

Description

 I inherited from my grandfather Sidney Karnow.  this item (the first loud talking telephone) may be of value or worthy of being in a museum.  (PLEASE SEE ATTACHED PHOTO) It was apparently invented by the same engineer who developed the Walkie Talkie. And, the patent was sold for $100 back in 1941. Our family has had this item since the 60's and we are wondering if "THE ELECTROD" may be part of TELEPHONE history.  My grandfather (Sidney Karnow who is in the picture with Abbot and Costello) was involved back in the early 40's to help the campaign when it was being manufactured by Teletronix Engineering in North Hollywood, California at that time.   Abbott and Costello were used in the advertising campaign to market the Electrod.  I look forward to any responses of interest or guidance.

I am not certain, but considering history, I would bet that there is a museum that deals specifically with things telephone related. In fact, I just looked up telephone museum and one link says there are such museums around the world. Here's one link that may interest you, since it traces the telephone and bell system from Alexander Graham Bell to today.
