Desks like this tend to date from the mid 1920's to early 30's, values for them peaked in the 1980's and have been in decline since that time. At auction one like this would sell for under $250.00.

It seems like you are really knowledgeable about antique appraisals. My grandmother left me these dishes in her will and wanted me to sell them to pay for my wedding. Want to get them sold but have absolutely no idea what they are worth. She seemed convinced they were very valuable. Even if you could point me in the right direction it would be greatly appreciated.
