Description

This book is in beautiful condition except for a small smudge on a couple of the pages.  The original owners' name is written on the flyleaf.

The pages are the lovely color that happens with aging.

There are no torn pages.  The binding is completely intact.

Ugh I wrote out this big response for you, it got deleted. Okay first, is it a true first edition printed in 1946 and the seriel number should have the number one somewhere- anywhere in there. very good is as close to new as reasonably possible- no staining tearing or flecked/ chipping paint, binding should be attached together, glue unbroken. You should be able to message me personally, it should give an odd looking cover name but route the message to my email if you want to send photos :)

Some books are harder to find, and the harder to find they are, the more the scale of what is reasonably very good can drastically shift, so please don't think I'm saying minimal to no wearing on all very good books- some books are so rare they could be very stained and still be considered very good. I hope this isn't too confusing, in my head it makes sense, haha.

Thanks for the clearing up some of the definitions for me.  It can really get confusing but since I'm planning on putting some old cookbooks up for sale, too, it's good to get a better feel for how to describe them.  You've been a big help.  Thanks.
