Description
I got this at an estate sale.

The company running the estate sale mentioned that it is a match stick holder for hanging above an old gas stove.

I found a business card and tag inside of it when I got it. (see pictures)  The business card is for Granville Antiques out of Granville OH, which hasnt been in business for a long time.  On the back of the card it states..."Japanese Demon Mask, Tengu, Bronze with gold eyes and tongue".  The tag (also pictured) states "Demon Mask Bronze/gold, "No" theatre mask, Japanese $300.-)

Can bronze be enameled as it is a reddish color.

The mask is 5" tall and 3 3/4" wide.  It is 5" from front to back.  It has a hole punched in each ear for hanging and also has one rectangle hole in the back.

There appears to be some wear on the back which shows a bit of the metal under the enamel.
