Hi, just wondering if anybody could give me any info about this table...

its a tri legged tilt top table with a glass top with a rug hooking under the glass.

I have no idea of its orgin or age, there are no markings on the table to indicate who might have made it.

Its in very good condition, other than the cloth on the back has some water stains and a bit of fraying on its edges

its a very ornate table from what I've compared it to others online, the glass top seems very unique as well.

any ideas where it could be from or its age, and what it might be worth?

any other questions you might have let me know...

The table really looks antique and different especially the rug inside the glass is very unique. I wonder how this technique of fixing the rug inside the glass with the wooden base was done by the artist.

Based on the images the table itself is a early Victorian tilt top, but I believe the fabric top is a later addition. Fabric tops like this were often used on fire screens, but without the glass. We'd retail this for about $400.00.

actally, the glass top comes off, just held in place by 1 screw
